In kind kits distributed to families in need in Syria

MECC team distributed in kind kits to displaced and affected families by the Syrian crisis in a number of villages in Rural Damascus, Rural Hama and Rural Homs.

1008 families, including female-headed households, adults and 21 children with special needs and disabilities, benefited from these Individual and family hygiene kits in addition to blankets and school kits.

“My children and I have not received any assistance since the death of my husband despite our bad financial situation. We are in dire need of hygiene kits, blankets and other basics of daily life that I cannot afford due to my low monthly income. The items provided by MECC will help me save money to buy food and medicine for my children”, said one of the beneficiaries, a mother of three children and the breadwinner of her family.
